Prospective students wishes to pursue a study program at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) must fulfill these requirements and provide following documents.

Bachelor Program

  • Certified true copy of secondary education/ high school diploma or proof of graduation.

  • Certified copy of secondary education/ high school transcript.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV), two-pages maximum

  • A recent, maximum two-year old, TOEFL PBT scores minimum 450 (engineering and natural sciences program) and 500 (social sciences program). Any other equivalent English proficiency test (TOEFL iBT, IELTS, etc.) scores are accepted.

  • Scanned passport

  • Students are required to enroll for Indonesian Language Course during their studies.

Master Program

  • Students must already hold a Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline before commencing Masters academic year.

  • Certified true copy of undergraduate diploma.

  • Certified copy of undergraduate academic transcript.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV), two-pages maximum

  • A recent, maximum two-year old, TOEFL PBT scores minimum 450 (engineering and natural sciences program) and 500 (social sciences program). Any other equivalent English proficiency test (TOEFL iBT, IELTS, etc.) scores are accepted.

  • Two (2) recommendation or reference letters. Preferably a lecturer/ professor, academic supervisor, or work supervisor.

  • Scanned passport.

  • Students are required to enroll for Indonesian Language Course during their studies.

Doctoral Program

  • Students must already hold a Master degree in a relevant discipline before commencing Doctoral academic year.

  • Certified true copy of master diploma.

  • Certified copy of master academic transcript.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV), two-pages maximum

  • A recent, maximum two-year old, TOEFL PBT scores minimum 450 (engineering and natural sciences program) and 500 (social sciences program). Any other equivalent English proficiency test (TOEFL iBT, IELTS, etc.) scores are accepted.

  • Two (2) recommendation or reference letters. Preferably a lecturer/ professor, academic supervisor, or work supervisor.

  • A research proposal.

  • Scanned passport.

  • Students are required to enroll for Indonesian Language Course during their studies.

Contact our International Office for guidance if your academic diploma is not available yet before admission’s deadline.

An application fee of USD 50 for bachelor/master’s program and USD 75 for doctoral program is associated. All documents and payment must be submitted by mid-November each year. The course starts on September following year.
