UNS — State Administration Science Program Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta student, Bima Maulana Rahmad Hidayat, brought another proud name for the alma mater. This time, he won the Broadcasting Competition 2021 in the News Presenter category Nuskara EO Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY).
In the announcement released on Sunday 6 June 2021 through the @nuskara2021 Instagram account, Bima Maulana Rahmad Hidayat won the 3rd position. This achievement is the third time for Bima Maulana Rahmad Hidayat to bring a proud name for UNS in 2021. Previously he won the 2nd prize in News Anchor LPM Unsika and Most Intelligent Kece Cari Presenter Kece TV by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa).
Bima Maulana Rahmad Hidayat shared that this competition consists of two stages. The first stage is sending a creative news presenter video to be posted in a personal Instagram account. At the second stage, the Best Eight were asked to participate in a public test through the Zoom Cloud Meeting. In this second stage, juries assess participant’s performance and selected the Best Three and Runner ups.
“Alhamdulillah, I won the third position. Alhamdulillah, I won three competitions this year,” Bima said Tuesday (8/6/2021).
Bima went through a thought process because he was required to make serious preparation and competed with participants from Sekolah Tinggi Multi-Media MMTC Yogyakarta, Universitas Tidar, Universitas Budi Luhur, and the host, UNY. The preparation consists of a wardrobe, voice management by specific diets, news reading training, and equipment.
Bima stated that all achievements start from ourselves. Whether someone willing to learn and went through the process, besides the spirits and working continuously when the opportunity comes.
“Whatever ability or passion you have, let’s use it to our best. Willing to try, give the best, and keep training especially to bring a proud name for UNS,” he concluded. Humas UNS
