UNS — The alumni of Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, S.H., M.H., is elected as the Chairman for National Korpri Management (DPKN) for 2022-2027 in an acclamation vote National Conference (Munas) IX Korpri on 28-29 January 2022. Prof. Zudan, who currently also serves as the Director-General for Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Ministry of Internal Affairs (Kemendagri), broke the record to be elected in acclamation without voting and to become chairman who serve for two periods for the first time since Korpri established in 1971.
From the screening process for Chairman candidates, the districts/cities, provincial, and ministerial representatives have suggested Prof. Zudan as a candidate for chairman. All representatives then agreed to select Prof. Zudan. The decision of the conference led by Reydonnyzar Moenek is ratified in Decision Letter (SK) No. 8 of 2022.
“Bismillah, with the support from all Munas IX Korpri participants and the President, Mendagri, Minister of PANRB, and all Korpri management, Insyaallah, I am ready to be nominated,” Prof. Zudan stated.
Prof. Zudan, who also serves as the Vice-Chairman of UNS Alumni Association (IKA UNS), invited all civil apparatus and Korpri members to continue serving in his remark as National Korpri Chairman 2022-2027. Besides setting up the work program, selecting a new chairman, and a new uniform for Korpri, Prof. Zudan also stated that there are many other works that need to be completed, such as the civil apparatus welfare and retirement, career system, and transformation into digital government.

“Civil apparatus in a large power that needs to be optimized,” Prof Zudan stated.
President Joko Widodo sends three messages to Prof. Zudan in optimizing the role of civil apparatus. First, Korpri could support, maintain, and improve public services, Korpri could improve innovations in the bureaucratic system, and third, Korpri could become a motor in the transformation into digital government that will provide a better public service.
