UNS — Architecture and Environment Research Group of the Architectural Engineering Program Faculty of Engineering (FT) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a community service program. The program was implemented through the assistance for promoting the potential of Puntukrejo Village, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar as an agrotourism. This program was implemented by faculty members, students, and people in the targeted village.

Dr. Ir. Musyawaroh, M.T., the Chief of Committee, explained that this community service started with field survey, document survey, and interviews with community leaders, civil service, MSMEs, and BUMDes in Puntukrejo Village. The community service team then held training to create a website to introduce the village potential and trained the villagers to promote their village potential through social media. This training resulted in the pesonapuntukrejo.com website as an outcome of the program.

“This website shared the potential of Puntukrejo Village, including agriculture and plantation, culinary, recreation destination, traditional jamu, craft village, and another potential,” Dr. Ir. Musyawaroh explained.
