UNS — Celebrating the 45th Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UNS (red: a women organization whose members are the wife of Indonesian civil servant) organizes blood donor event at Masjid An -Nuur Perum Dosen UNS Griyan Baru, Baturan, Sunday (28/3/2021).
The Chair of the Committee DWP UNS, Indri Sapta Kunta states that the blood donor is in collaboration with the Takmir of Masjid An -Nuur Perum Dosen UNS Griyan Baru, Baturan, and Indonesia Red Cross Organization (PMI) Kota Surakarta.
“Other than celebrating the 45th Anniversary, this blood donor is also a routine social service conducted by DWP UNS. Alhamdulillah, the event is attended by the representatives from the Implementing Unit (UP) of DWP UNS, in total 34 people are attending and 13 people passed the screening and donating their blood,” Indri explains.
Further, she added that because the donor is conducted during this Covid-19 pandemic, thus, the implementation complies with the strict health protocol. “Hopefully, this activity can be useful for all and can help PMI in fulfilling their blood supply,” she states.
Meanwhile, the Head of DWP UNS, Budhi Wijayanti Jamal Wiwoho, who also present during the blood donor, thanked all DWP UNS administrators and members for donating their blood. Budhi Wijayanti Jamal Wiwoho admits that she is excited about passing the screening process and can become one of the donors.
“Thank you for the Takmir of Masjid An -Nuur Perum Dosen UNS Griyan Baru, Baturan and PMI for collaborating with DWP UNS, thus this event can be implemented smoothly,” Budhi reveals.
Meanwhile, the Head of Blood Donor from the Takmir Masjid An -Nuur Perum Dosen UNS Griyan Baru, Baturan, H. Purwosutanto, states that they are happy for collaborating with DWP UNS in this blood donor. “The Jamaah Masjid An -Nuur Perum Dosen UNS Griyan Baru, Baturan is enthusiastic to join this blood donor,” he concluded.
