UNS — The Faculty of Agriculture (FP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta brought happy news for the university. Muhamad Maulana Khasani from Animal Husbandry Program 2019 won the 1st prize in the posted competition held by Universitas Utara Malaysia (UUM).
In the online competition, Maulana created a poster titled Tips PDKT Sama Allah (Tips for Getting Closer to Allah) because the competition theme was Ramadhan. Maulana thought that it is interesting to discuss the tips to get better during the Ramadhan. “To maximize our merit in Ramadhan,” he said. Maulana also admitted that he pays attention to the visuals of his creation. “Thus, in the poster, I play color combination and elegant visuals and text,” he explained on Monday (7/6/2021).
Maulana said that he is very grateful for his achievement in the Ramadhan Festival under the Fastabiqul Khairat theme announced on Saturday (29/5/2021). “Alhamdulillah, I am delighted because after I participated in many poster competitions I only won twice. This is my second time winning a poster competition,” he said.
Maulana also explained the reason for his participation in the international competition. He wanted to improve his portfolio for his future job application. He needs to manage his time for class, organization, and creating the poster in the competition. Winning and losing are both valuable experiences for him. He hopes in the future, he will have an opportunity to participate and win various digital competitions.
“I hope to participate and win various digital competitions such as photo, video, or graphic design,” he hoped. Humas UNS
