UNS — Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held Eid Al’Fitr silaturahmi 1442 H on Tuesday (25/5/2021). The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, delivered his appreciation for DWP UNS members on the occasion.
Prof. Jamal stated that DWP members at the university and faculty level have high togetherness and solidarity. This spirit is marked by all DWP members who attended the event with similar outfits. The Rector of UNS also reminded DWP UNS members to participate in supporting and encouraging UNS development in various fields.
“Let’s move together and do not consider UNS development as the effort of one person but because of the efforts from many people, because all academic members including the support from DWP members at university and faculty levels,” Prof. Jamal emphasized.
The Chief of DWP UNS, Budhi Widjajanti Jamal Wiwoho, S.E., invited DWP UNS members to be grateful that the group could manage a silaturahmi though limited by the pandemic. “However, with this limitation, we should be grateful because we could hold this routine event in the syawal month,” Budhi Jamal Wiwoho stated.
The event was held offline in the Seminar Room Nurul Huda Mosque UNS and through Zoom Cloud Meeting. Dr. dr. H. Probosuseno delivered a speech on healthcare, the tips for the golden age to achieve Setaman (sehat, terhormat, mandiri, dan manfaat) (healthy, respected, independent, and beneficial) through being grateful and maintain silaturahmi with others.
