UNS — Faculty of Engineering (FT) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held an art performance on Friday night (3/3/2023). The art performance entitled ‘Teknik Satu‘ is a forum for FT UNS academics to show their art talents. This art performance also coincided with the inauguration of the ‘Teknik Satu’ gate and the launch of the Corruption-Free of Area Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK).
This activity was attended by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho; the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation UNS, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo; the Dean of FT UNS, Dr. Sholihin As’ad; and FT UNS leaders.
Various bands, both from FT students and alumni, also showed off in this art performance. Meanwhile there were also batik carnival performances by dozens of FT UNS students and Romanz Pitu Band performances. To enliven the event, a capstone design and stand up comedy competition were also held which was announced at the end of the event.
“The theme of this art performance is certainly familiar to FT UNS academics. Even though there are many faculties at UNS, engineering is still number one. Besides, we also have many study programs, they are united in the engineering faculty. I am very happy and do appreciate all presented FT academics who gather here, then this indicates that FT is a solid faculty,” the Dean of FT UNS, Dr. Sholihin As’ad, said.
The Dean of FT UNS hopes that uniting all study programs in FT can strengthen solidarity in giving contributions to Indonesia.
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho also appreciated FT for preparing and organizing this art performance. Moreover, this event was also attended by FT alumni.
“I appreciate all the hard work of the FT UNS academics that today there will be lots of entertainment. We should also be proud because FT will have a new gate which we will inaugurate together tonight,” he said. Humas UNS
