The policies and strategies in Disaster Management Masterplan (Rencana Induk Penanggulangan Bencana – RIPB) 2020-2044 consists of six points: strengthening the effective and efficient Disaster Management Law Draft (Rancangan Undang-Undang Penanggulangan Bencana – RUU PB), increasing the synergy among stakeholders, and strengthening investment in disaster risk management by taking into account spatial and regional layouts,” he explained.
Besides that, the other RIPB points are strengthening the increasingly professional and accountable disaster management governance, improving capacity and capability in fast and reliable disaster emergency response, and lastly, accelerating post-disaster recovery in affected areas and communities.
