UNS — The Faculty of Medicine (FK), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta received an excellent “A” predicate from an Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education Health Indonesia (LAM-PTKes). The accreditation predicate was obtained after a site visit carried out by the LAM-PTKes Association Management assessor team in November 2021 for the Undergraduate in Medicine Education Study Program and the Medical Profession Study Program, FK UNS. The assessment decision for the site-visit was announced through the LAM-PTKes Decree No: 0597/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/XII/2021 concerning the Status, Score, and Accreditation Ratings of the Undergraduate in Medicine Education Study Program at Universitas Sebelas Maret, which acknowledges the study program with A (Very Good) predicate in accreditation. Meanwhile, the LAM-PTKes Decree No: 0598/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/XII/2021 concerning the Status, Score, and Accreditation Ratings of the Medical Profession Study Program at Universitas Sebelas Maret, acknowledges the program with an A (Very Good) rating in the accreditation.
Quoted from the https://fk.uns.ac.id/ webpage on Monday (24/1/2022), the LAM-PTKes Decree was issued in Jakarta on December 10, 2021, by the Chair of LAM-PTKes, Prof. Dr. Sarwiji Suwandi, M.Pd. The Status, Score, and Accreditation Rating in the LAM-PTKes Accreditation Decree for the UNS Undergraduate in Medicine Education Study Program and the Medical Profession Study Program are valid from the date the Decree is issued until November 12, 2025.
In her remarks, the Vice-Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FK UNS, Paramasari Dirgahayu Ph.D., expressed her gratitude to all of FK UNS Faculty Members for providing assistance and support such as supporting documents and information, during the Self-Assessment Report preparation and the site-visit.
“We are all happy that our faculty achieved the accreditation and maintain our accreditation rating, with an excellent “A” predicate or outstanding,” explained Paramasari.
Paramasari added that the Undergraduate in Medicine Education Study Program and the Medical Profession Study Program were accredited by LAM-PTKes with a similar rating for three consecutive periods. She wishes that in the future, FK UNS can receive international accreditation. Humas UNS
