UNS — Four students of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won the 1st position in the National Creative Learning Video Competition held by Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. These four students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program FKIP UNS, are Muhammad Rizal Akbar, Aprilia Rizki Arifah, Sanggar Pawesti Regita Ningrum, and Nuri Puji Hastuti.
The video competition is a part of PGSD BERKARYA 6 yang mengangkat tema Mahasiswa PGSD BERKARYA 6 (PGSD Creates) Produktif Optimal dan Bernilai Menjawab Tantangan (Productive, Optimum, and Valuable in Answering Challenges). This year, the competition was held online and joined by students from various universities. The competition has two categories, traditional dance and learning video. Learning video has two sub-themes, learning technology and learning amid the pandemic.
With her team, Aprilia decided to participate in the learning amid the pandemic criteria. “We took the theme because it is in line with the current situation and condition,” she explained when contacted by the uns.ac.id team on Sunday (4/4/2021).
In the creative learning video, Aprilia and her team shared material on the Indonesian Language and explained the precipitation process for the 11th grade of High School. The video prepared innovatively and creatively to match the pandemic’s learning material can be used by teachers as a teaching reference.
She said that her team did not expect to win the competition and be delighted and grateful for the result. In the future, she and her team will continue contributing to the educational world with their innovative ideas. She also hopes that the pandemic does not hinder people from learning.
“Hopefully, the learning process can be more effective amid the pandemic so that education as knowledge transfer, motivational source, evaluation, and learning facilities for students can continue to perform optimally,” she concluded. Humas UNS
