UNS — The Faculty of Sports (FKOR) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Book Center of the Standardization, Curriculum and Education Assessment Agency (BSKAP), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) Republic of Indonesia ( RI). The signing took place at the Dean’s Meeting Room FKOR UNS, Friday (14/7/2023).
During the visit, the Dean of FKOR UNS, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama welcomed the delegation from the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI. Which consisted of the Secretary of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI, Dr. Suhadi, S.Pd., M.T. and the Chairman of the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI, Supriyatno S.Pd., M.A., along with their staff.
Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama, the Dean of FKOR UNS, stated that the meeting between FKOR UNS and the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI was for the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two parties regarding the rational academic study of the textbook needs for Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) subjects in primary and secondary education, conducted by the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI.
“We express our gratitude to the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikudristek RI for entrusting FKOR UNS with conducting the rational academic study of the textbook needs for PJOK subjects in primary and secondary education. Once again, we thank them for their trust in meeting the PJOK book needs, as this collaboration has been planned since 2022 but experienced some delays and today it can finally be realized, ” Dr. Kunta explained.
Meanwhile, Supriyatno S.Pd., M.A., the Chairman of the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI, said that the signing of the cooperation agreement between FKOR UNS and the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek RI was a follow-up to the meeting held on March 15, 2023, regarding the discussion of the rational academic study of the textbook needs for PJOK subjects in primary and secondary education, conducted by the Book Center of BSKAP Kemendikbudristek.
“With the availability of PJOK textbooks for students, it is hoped that they will be beneficial for both public and private school students, as there are now many Specialized Sports Schools (SKO) at both the junior and senior high school levels, which require specialized sports books and curricula,” he said.
