UNS – Wahyu Kisworo, a student of the Environmental Science Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta had been successfully awarded the Panasonic Scholarship Indonesia 2023.
The Panasonic Scholarship is one of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs of the Panasonic Group globally. The program was first launched in 1998. This year, Panasonic Scholarship Corporation provides scholarship assistance for students studying at universities in Indonesia, including undergraduate (S1) programs, masters (S2) programs and diploma three or four programs.
The scholarship award ceremony was held on Thursday (27/7/2023) at the Auditorium of the Matsushita Gobel Foundation, Jl. Raya Bogor KM 29, Pekayon, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.
Joy and pride were evident on Wahyu Kisworo’s face as he successfully received the scholarship, which will help support his studies and personal development through the benefits provided. The scholarship will be granted until the eighth semester, with the requirement that the grades obtained in the courses not be below a C.
“I am very happy because this scholarship will support my studies and allow me to develop myself,“ Wahyu said.
Getting the scholarship was not an easy process for Wahyu as he faced technical obstacles during the application and had to communicate intensively with the student affairs department of the faculty. By submitting a personal development plan or other essential documents related to self-improvement, he successfully received the Panasonic Scholarship Indonesia 2023 scholarship. HUMAS UNS
