UNS — The Faculty of Agriculture (FP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held socialization for Matching Fund Proposal 2022: Success Story Funded in 2021, Clue, and Strategy. The socialization was held online through the Zoom Cloud Meeting on Tuesday (22/3/2022).
Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr. Kuncoro Diharjo, S.T., M.T., appreciated the socialization and thanked FP UNS for holding socialization in welcoming and supporting UNS through Matching Fund Kedaireka Program. The Vice-Rector also stated that the Matching Fund is a funding scheme from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) for the collaboration between universities and the Business and Industrial sectors (DUDI) in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
“In the research and innovation field, (we) encourage UNS to contribute more to the Matching Fund 2022 program. Inviting faculty members, especially from FP UNS, to join the program. To participate and seize the opportunity. Let us welcome the Matching Fund 2022 program,” Prof. Kuncoro stated.
Prof. Kuncoro also hoped that UNS could win at least IDR 50 billion in funding from the scheme. He added that to prepare faculty members to join the program UNS has collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), Ministry of Environment and Forestry (LHK), and some partners from DUDI. The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, SH., M.Hum., also mandated the Director of Innovation and Downstreaming to oversee Matching Fund 2022 and to assist and provides confirmation needed by the applicants. The university also provided other administrative support for applicants.
The first socialization material was delivered by the Dean of FP UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Samanhudi, S.P., M.Si., IPM, ASEAN Eng., on Proposal Matching Fund 2022 Socialization as technical references in preparing the proposal. The second material was delivered by Dr. Ir. Joko Riyanto, M.P., on how he and his team won funding in 2021.
“Hopefully, in 2022, more proposals from FP UNS could win funding from the Matching Fund 2022 program,” Dr. Joko stated. Humas UNS
