The event was attended by 15 managing committees from Himagiri UNS, Paguyuban Karawitan Yoga Laras students, and Grimbal Hamlet people offline under a strict health protocol.
Besides socialization, Himagiri also created Grimbal Village Park to decorate the hamlet. Himantara also tries to involve children in Grimbal Hamlet through movie viewing activities. Two movies viewed in the event were the Malin Kundang musical and the Laskar Pelangi movie. Both movies were expected to give noble examples for Grimbal Hamlet people to always respect parents and prioritize education.
The event was welcomed by Paranggupito Village Chief Dwi Hartono. Dwi considers this event to have positive values in motivating the young generation in the village to continue their education. “The education level in Paranggupito is considered to be low. On average only Junior High School (SMP) graduates or equal. We hope Himantara could motivate Paranggupito children to continue education as high as possible,” Dwi Hartono concluded. Humas UNS
