The book review was led by Dr. M. Bagus Sekar Alam, Lecturer of the History Study Program, FIB UNS as a moderator, where Eddy Suprapto describes the contents and purposes of his 274-page book.
“Once upon a time the Marshal (Hadi Tjahjanto) called me to re-compile his biography in a book, I immediately agreed to it. In my opinion, and maybe this can be an understanding for all of us, this book composes the historical puzzle of the nation’s progress,” said Eddy.
Meanwhile, Colonel Wahyu Tjahjadi also talked about his older brother’s personality, who was firm and determined to study. He also mentioned that TNI has two duties, namely, War Military Operations and Military Operations Other Than War (MOOTW). “Our most prevalent current MOOTW is the Covid-19 pandemic handling,” he explained.
The book is more elegant when discussed from various perspectives, “Embracing the Flow of Change” is also discussed from an academic perspective by Prof. Warto. According to him, this book can knit assertiveness and integrity. “This book was handled with the utmost care by a team close to him. According to the empirical evidence, Mr. Hadi is present as a leader who speaks less and does a lot of work,” said Prof. Warto.
This book is not only about a biography, but it describes the historical evidence of the success of the struggle and detailed data on how Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto achieved it. This book implies that the flow of change should be embraced firmly and with integrity for the sake of advancing civilization. Humas UNS
