The ceremony took place at the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram UNS Auditorium on Saturday (27/4/2024).

“Today is evidence of your hard work, dedication, and perseverance over the years in this academic environment. You have successfully completed a chapter in your life, but this is also the beginning of a new chapter full of challenges,” Dr. Chatarina said.

Dr. Chatarina also reminded us that what has been acquired during university should sharpen intelligence, strengthen will, and refine feelings.

“Because educated individuals have differences in communication, different ways of thinking, different ways of working, and different ways of handling various problems they face,” she continued.

Dr. Chatarina then hoped that the attending graduates could become positive agents of change for society and contribute, through their respective fields, to the advancement of the nation and the welfare of society.

“As graduates of UNS, I hope you will become positive agents of change in society. Provide your best contribution in your respective fields, whether it is in science, technology, arts, social politics, or other fields, for the progress of the nation and the welfare of society,” she added.

In this fourth period graduation ceremony of 2024, KGPAA Mangkunegara X or Gusti Bhre delivered a speech and motivation to the graduates.

“Today is a day filled with happiness and pride for all friends and, of course, for the parents who have escorted their children today. This is surely a very enjoyable day,” Gusti Bhre said.

He also mentioned that youth is full of dynamics, but on one hand, it is a blessing because it is a time to try, learn, and sometimes experience failures. However, this also becomes a moment to achieve success. Gusti Bhre then advised the graduates, as the nation’s future generation, to preserve and continue the nation’s identity assets.
