UNS – The figure of Khoirudin Mustakim, a student of the Sports Coaching Education Study Program, Faculty of Sports (FKOR) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta has been the subject of discussion lately. How could it not be that he who is familiarly called Mustakim won a gold medal in Men’s Pencak Silat Tanding – Class A at the 32nd Sea Games in Cambodia.
When contacted by uns.ac.id, Mustakim said he was grateful for this achievement. “I certainly feel excited and happy. Alhamdulillah, thanks to everyone’s prayers, I was able to win first place at the 32nd Cambodian Sea Games this year. I thank my friends who have prayed for and supported me at this year’s Sea Games,” Mustakim said, Friday (12/5/2023).
Mustakim also said that while participating in the Sea Games 2023 event, he could add insight and experience, especially in the championship event.
“This is the third Sea Games experience for me. In the first and second Sea Games I got a silver medal. But Alhamdulillah, my 3rd Sea Games have succeeded in bringing me a gold medal,” Mustakim said.
Meanwhile, according to Mustakim, the trick to being able to win the title is to practice as much as possible. “Then focus and be confident that we are the best. And don’t forget to always ask for the blessing of both parents,” Mustakim continued.
Finally, Mustakim hopes that in the future the achievements he can make will continue to increase and hopefully Indonesian sports can also continue to grow.
“My message to all my friends is to continue to focus on goals and dreams. For whatever it is that you desire and that you have targeted within yourself, don’t forget to always involve Allah in every step of your endeavors,” Mustakim concluded. Humas UNS
