UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta students held a socialization program for Land and Building Tax (PBB) One Day Collection (SHL) and tax collection on Thursday (17/2/2022) for people Patukgawemulyo Village, Mirit Subdistrict, Kebumen District.
The event was attended by tax officers from the Regional Finance and Revenue Management (BPKPD) of Kebumen District and Forum for Leaders’ Coordination (Forkompim) Mirit Subdistrict. Gezz Rahardiningsih from BPKPD appreciated Patukgawemulyo Village’s action to hold the event because it was an effective and efficient step to anticipate PBB deposit in the village.
Patukgawemulyo Village Chief, Anam Lutfi S.E., stated that PPB one-day collection was a good approach to reflect a tax-abiding citizen. The program was implemented to prevent deposits of tax in the village. “Hopefully, it could be improved next year,” he stated.
To motivate the villagers to participate in the program, the village government prepared various attendance gifts and two goats as the main gift. The prize draw was also livened up by a dangdut performance.
From the total of IDR 125,659,064 tax target, the event collected IDR 114,655,000 or 91% of total payment. it is expected that the SHL innovation could improve PBB collection in the village. The village chief also thanked the students for supporting the program.
The KKN Group in the village was supervised by Prof. Dr. Kuncoro Diharjo, with Agus Setiyabudi acting as the Team Leader. Agus hoped that the taxpayers could participate in future programs from the local government in the future. Humas UNS
