UNS – The Professional Certification Institute (LSP) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in Surakarta once again organized the Regular Competency Test (UK) 24, which took place over two days on Saturday and Sunday (23-24/1/2024) at the Competency Test Venue (TUK). Participants in this Regular Competency Test included the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) (Kentingan and Pabelan), Faculty of Agriculture (FP), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FIISP), Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Sports Sciences (FKOR), Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD), the Technical Implementation Unit of Information and Communication Technology (UPT TIK), and the Technical Implementation Unit of Libraries and Vocational Schools at UNS.
Dr. Aniek Hindrayani, SE., Msi, as the Chairperson of LSP UNS, stated that in this 24th Regular UK, 37 schemes were tested with the aim of preparing graduates for the workforce by providing them with Competency Certificates according to their expertise fields. The event was attended by 882 candidates and 87 assessors. Aniek hopes that with the implementation of this Regular Competency Test, more participants will take part in competency tests with the schemes offered by LSP.
“In the future, we hope that more participants will take part in competency tests with the schemes offered by LSP,” Aniek said.
The agenda for the first day of the Regular Competency Test included schemes such as Junior SME Consultant Occupation, Junior Administrative Assistant Occupation, Junior Graphic Designer Occupation, Junior Network Administrator Occupation, Programmer Occupation, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Occupation, Junior Accounting Technician Occupation, Welding Engineer Occupation, Assistant Controller of Plant Pests Occupation, Quality Control Feed Supervisor Occupation, Organic Plant Facilitator Occupation, Community Empowerment Facilitator Occupation, Agribusiness Marketing Supervisor Occupation – Marketing Document Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Cluster, Public Relations Officer Occupation, Five Qualification Fields of Agribusiness Management, Batik Motif Designer Occupation, Public Information and Documentation Manager Occupation, Junior Art Director Occupation, Senior Assistant Designer Occupation, Strategy Compilation Cluster, Governance, Infrastructure, and Risk Management Information System Bank, Book Editor Occupation, Public Policy Analyst Occupation, Export Import Administrative Staff Occupation, Operational Sales Area Marketing Staff Occupation, Operational Service Area Marketing Staff Occupation, Brand Area Operational Marketing Staff Occupation, Water Sampling Officer Occupation, Mapping Technician and Geographic Information System Occupation, Junior Web Programmer Occupation, Seed Production Cluster, Sport Massage Implementation Cluster, and Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTb) Through Registration Cluster.

The implementation of Regular UK 24, which lasted for two days, proceeded smoothly. Prof. Ir. Purwanto, M.S., the Head of the Certification Division of LSP, also hoped that the participants would be declared competent and ready to enter the workforce.
