UNS — The Master Program in Science Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a workshop on Course Portfolio Preparation in UNS Inn on Monday (28/3/2022). This workshop was attended by faculty members in the program and was led by Dr. Sarwanto, S.Pd., M.Si., as the Head of the program.
Dr. Sarwanto explained the implementation of Semester Outline (RPS) into grading and evaluation instrument.
“To this day, the portfolio available in Siakad for two semesters can be used as the evaluation for the program. This portfolio needs to refer to the Graduate Learning Outcome (CPL) and Course Learning Outcome (CPMK). After that, explain the assessment stages,” Dr. Sarwanto explained.

Further, he explained that the assessment rubric must match the courses and learning implementation. From the implemented learning process, teachers could prepare assessment instruments and apply the assessment method as reported to the program.
Dr. Sri Yamitinah, the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Science Education, explained that the student’s assessment results could become a recommendation for programs to improve service quality. She also explained the assessment process for students’ paper presentations.
“Student paper presentation assessment must meet several indicators, for example, student’s responses quantity, problem identification, explanation, and solution suggestions, while for paper preparation project, the indicators are the title quality, content quality, write up, and references,” Dr. Sri explained.
The workshop resulted in an assessment model based on CPL and concluded with a joint photo session and a closing ceremony. Humas UNS
