UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta again accomplished another outstanding achievement in 2022. For the first time, UNS entered the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings on Asia’s 401-500 universities rank.
In total there are 14 Indonesian universities ranked in THE Asia Rankings 2022. Beside UNS, there are several other Indonesian universities in the 401-500 ranking, namely Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB University), Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), and Telkom University.
THE Asia University Rankings measure college performance based on five aspects. The five aspects are teaching (25%), research (30%), research influence-citations (30%), international outlook (7.5%), and industry income (7.5%). UNS scored 21.8 in teaching, 16.7 in research, 24.4 in citations, 25 in international outlook, and 38.3 in industry income.
