UNS — Papermob configuration in the Campus Life Introduction for New Student Program (PKKMB) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta Candradimuka 2021 won a MURI record for papermob configuration with the largest participants with a total of 5,200 UNS new students participated in the configuration.
This configuration was created through the virtual background feature in the Zoom Cloud Meeting because the program was implemented entirely online. There are 11 formations configured by the students, including the UNS logo, “Nareswara Wiratama Nusantara”, a map of Indonesia, six ethnic houses from six islands in Indonesia, PKKMB UNS Candradimuka 2021 logo, and flashlight logo.
This achievement is quite excellent considering that it could break MURI record for the largest number of participants in the last two years. In the previous year, PKKMB UNS Mahasura Muda 2020 also broke the MURI record for the papermob configuration with the largest number of participants with a total of 4,500 new UNS students.
The record was announced online by Ari Andriani as a representative MURI. In the opening remark at the Cultural Appreciation and Community on Saturday (21/8/2021), through UNS and Generasi UNS YouTube live broadcast, Ari Andriani appreciated this record. “Representing MURI Chairman, we announced that this papermob configuration is recorded in the Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia. Congratulation for this achievement.”
Ari Andriani also symbolically handed the record charter to the PKKMB UNS Candradimuka 2021 managing committee and UNS new students. The record is recorded on No. 9989/R.MURI/VIII/2021. “Today, Saturday, 21 August 2021, recorded another achievement in MURI with papermob configuration with the largest participants with a total of 5,200 participants,” Ari added.
PKKMB UNS Candradimuka 2021 Chief, M. Khairil Ibadu Rahman, in a separate communication on Sunday (22/8/2021), stated that this papermob configuration aims to promote the national culture. UNS logo, “Nareswara Wiratama Nusantara”, the map of Indonesia, six ethnic houses from six islands in Indonesia, and PKKMB UNS Candradimuka 2021 logo, are to promote the identity and meaning of PKKMB UNS. He added that the managing committee selected red, blue, and white backgrounds for the occasion.
“The flashlight formation and slogan need candles and flashlight (to create). The flashlight formation and slogan mentioned slogan from the six large islands, including Sumatera, Kalimantan, Java, Sulawesi, Bali, and Papua,” Khairil Ibadu Rahman explained.
After MURI announced the record, UNS hashtag become a trending topic in Twitter, including #BanggaMenjadiUNS, #RekorMuriPKKMBUNS2021, UNSKampusBerbudaya, and UNSKampusBentengPancasila. Until Saturday (21/8/2021) 21.10 WIB (UTC+7), the hash tags were twitted for 23.5 million times. Humas UNS
