UNS – Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta signed a memorandum of understanding with the Faculty of Agriculture Alumni Association (IKATANI) UNS, Friday (23/6/2023). The signing of the memorandum of understanding between UNS and IKATANI UNS took place offline at the Auditorium G.P.H. Haryo Mataram. The signing ceremony was carried out directly by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. Meanwhile, IKATANI UNS was represented by the Chairperson, namely Dr. Dina Hidayana, S.P., M.Sc.
UNS and IKATANI UNS both agreed on a memorandum of understanding regarding the Implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education. The purpose of this memorandum of understanding is to apply and improve the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education and the development of human resources. This aims to synergize and optimize the potential and resources of the parties in the context of educational, institutional and human resource development.
The scope of this agreement covers the fields of education, research and community service, the implementation of MBKM, human resource development, and other mutually agreed fields. This memorandum of understanding is valid for a period of four years and will be followed up through a cooperation agreement between UNS and IKATANI UNS.
The signing of this memorandum of understanding was carried out after the inauguration of the new IKATANI UNS board. The IKATANI UNS Board was inaugurated directly by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., Secretary General of the UNS Alumni Association (IKA), Drs. Bambang Dwi Wahyudi, and the Chairman of MPR RI, Dr. H. Bambang Soesatyo, S.E., S.H., M.B.A.
Currently, Dr. Dina Hidayana, S.P., M.Sc., is carrying out the mandate as the Chairperson of IKATANI UNS 2023-2027. Previously, the Chairperson of IKATANI UNS was appointed based on the Decree of the National Conference of the Faculty of Agriculture Alumni on 18 March 2023 concerning Organizational Structure and Work Procedures.
This event also inaugurated the Council of Experts, the Honorary Council, and the Advisory Council of IKATANI UNS. IKATANI UNS Expert Council is namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. UNS IKATANI Honorary Council is headed by Ir. Arsyadjuliandi Rachman, MBA. As well as the Board of Trustees of IKATANI UNS, namely Ir. Triyana, MBA., CPMA.
IKATANI UNS is an organization for alumni of FP UNS with the vision of realizing alumni who are able to participate in the process of developing the quality of human resources and development in various sectors, especially agriculture. In addition, IKATANI UNS’s mission is to gather the strengths of alumni to contribute to national development, improve the quality of superior and competitive human resources and synergize with the alma mater in realizing alumni welfare.
