UNS – The S1 Statistics Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta has successfully obtained the Excellent accreditation predicate from the Independent Accreditation Institution for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (Lamsama). This achievement is stated in the Decree of the Independent Accreditation Institution for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences Number 063/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/S/VII/2023 Regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Statistics Undergraduate Program at Universitas Sebelas Maret. The decision is effective from the date of signing on July 14, 2023 until July 14, 2028.
Previously, the Statistics Study Program received field assessments from Lamsama for two days on 6-7 July 2023, with the opening held in the Senate Meeting Room, Building A, FMIPA UNS. The field assessment was conducted to clarify the data written on the form with the actual conditions in the field. This was conveyed by one of the assessors from Lamsama, Prof. Dr. Budi Nurani Ruchjana, M.S.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of all parties involved, the Statistics Study Program finally achieved the Excellent accreditation predicate. This achievement brings satisfaction to all stakeholders, from the study program to the faculty’s leaders as the Study Program’s Managing Unit (UPPS).
Head of Statistics Study Program, Dr. Hasih Pratiwi, S.Si., M.Sc. expressed gratitude for the support of all UNS leaders, the Dean and Vice Deans of FMIPA, along with all staff, for their support throughout the accreditation process of the Statistics Study Program until obtaining the Excellence predicate. Hopefully this achievement will bring benefits and blessings to FMIPA and UNS.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FMIPA UNS, Drs. Harjana, M.Si., M.Sc. Ph. D. appreciates and congratulates the Statistics Study Program for obtaining the Excellence accreditation from Lamsama. “As leaders, we thank the dedication and hard work of all parties involved, so that the Statistics Study Program obtained Excellent accreditation. Hopefully this achievement will bring benefits and blessings to all of us,” Harjana said.
