UNS – Vocational School (SV) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with seventeen partners. The signing ceremony took place in the Ballroom of the Ki Hadjar Dewantara Tower Building, 3rd Floor, Friday (19/5/2023).
The 17 partners who signed the PKS with SV UNS include PT. Water fountain; PT Madusari Nusaperdana; PT Rosalia Indah Transport; PT Superplast Adiperkasa Indonesia; PT Hardo Soloplast; PT Pan Brothers; PT Indo Veneer Utama; PT Happy Kharisma Textile; PT Sumber Plastik Top; PT Sedaap Sejahtera Bersama; PT Bengawantex; CV Amigo Mangesti Utomo; CV Bengawan Multi Trading; CV. Bengawan Adi Putra; Hotel Alila Solo; Netra Group; and Al Azhar School Syifa Budi Solo.
The Dean of SV UNS, Drs. Santoso Tri Hananto, M. Acc., Ak. said that hopefully this collaboration with partners can be carried out in a sustainable manner.
“I hope that SV UNS and the 17 partners, who will mutually sign this agreement, can establish a mutually beneficial cooperation for both parties. I hope this signature is not just a mere formality but also manifested in real terms in activities between higher education (PT) and industry,” Santoso said.
Santoso added that collaborating with partners is important because university needs industry to help with variation in the learning process.
“Once again I thank the partners. Hopefully the scope of cooperation that we will carry out later can also realize cooperation products for the development of both parties,” Santoso continued.
Then the Interim Vice Rector for Planning Business and Information Cooperation, Prof. Irwan Trinugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D. also expressed his gratitude to SV UNS for being the faculty that actively initiated the collaboration signing activity.
“Hopefully, the collaboration that has been established with 17 partners can serve as a vehicle that accelerates the achievement of IKU, especially in relation to cooperation with universities. And hopefully this collaboration can provide benefits for both parties,” Prof. Irwan said.
