The MoU was signed by the Acting Rector of UNS, Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H., S.E., M.H., and Director of Operations of Bank Jatim, Tbk., Arif Suhirman. The event was also attended by senior officials from both institutions.

The aim of the MoU is to create synergy based on the competencies of each party while adhering to and upholding the principles of mutually beneficial service.

In her speech, Dr. Chatarina Muliana highlighted that this collaboration is a strategic step in solidifying a synergy that will significantly benefit both parties, especially in supporting the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.

“This moment is a strategic step towards advancing superior human resources in Indonesia. I am pleased that although Bank Jatim is a regional development bank of East Java, it does not limit its operations to just that region. We express our gratitude and hope that our joint commitment to enhancing human resource quality, particularly at UNS, will be achieved,” Dr. Chatarina said.

From Bank Jatim‘s side, Arif Suhirman expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with UNS. He also noted that the rapid development of the banking sector facilitates collaboration between Bank Jatim and UNS in education, services, banking, and other fields.

“Bank Jatim has a strong desire to enhance its role and positive contributions to customers, partners, and stakeholders, allowing us to continue growing and developing, particularly in the field of education,” Arif explained.

The Director of Operations of Bank Jatim also conveyed his hope that this partnership would be developed according to needs and that the relationship between UNS and Bank Jatim would run smoothly and beneficially.
