This excellent student is Khanif Irsyad Fahmi from PKP UNS 2018. In this competition, the student who is currently serving as the President of the Student Executive Board (Presbem) FP UNS won the 3^rd prize and felt happy for his achievement.

“Happy, because this is the first time winning a podcast competition,” Khanif said to uns.ac.id team on Saturday (14/8/2021).

The broadcasting competition was held online using the Zoom Meeting application. In this competition, participants send their broadcasting videos to the committee for an assessment from juries. On Saturday (7/8/2021), the winners were announced.

In his content, Khanif shared his concern on the agricultural fields. “I feel that (I) need to express my concern through this podcast competition because the theme is exciting, Young Generation as a Key Leader of Indonesia’s Agricultural Future Fate, in line with my background as agricultural students and as the youth as the drivers of agricultural (development),” Khanif explained.

By winning this competition, Khanif hoped that the young generation, especially students in the agricultural programs, could give more attention to the agricultural fields. He considers that Indonesia has rich resources and needs the young generation to take care of these resources.

“I hope that the young generation in general and agricultural students in particular, could be more aware and pay attention to the agricultural sectors. The tropical country with its rich resources, almost all plants could be cultivated here, what more do we need? Right, people who work as farmers,” Khanif concluded. Humas UNS
