Distinguished Guests in Attendance

Several distinguished figures attended this prestigious event. There was Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, S.H., M.H., Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN). He also serves as Vice Chairman of the UNS Alumni Association (IKA UNS). Also present was Paulus Dwi Laksono, Head of Regional Office I BKN. Another was Prof. Ihwan Susila, Ph.D., Vice Rector III of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Next was Prof. Dr. Hasnawi Haris, M.Hum., Vice Rector of Universitas Negeri Makassar. Lastly, there was Prof. Dr. Sukamto Satoto, S.H., M.H., Head of the Doctoral Program in Law at Universitas Jambi.

Vice Rector for Academic and Research Affairs, Prof. Fitria Rahmawati, S.Si., M.Si., presented a detailed report on the graduates. The 593 graduates comprised:

• Specialist Medical Education: 31 graduates

• Youngest Graduate: Dr. Noor Shazreen Binti Mortadza (Doctoral program in Economics) – 31 years

Master’s Program

• Fastest Graduate: Ainina Ratnadewi, M.E. (Economics and Development Studies) – 1 year, 3 months
• Youngest Graduate: Anisya Nur Widya, M.E. (Economics and Development Studies) – 22 years, 10 months

Bachelor’s Program

• Fastest Graduate: Nadia Ananda Putri, S.Pd. (Physical Education, Health, and Recreation) – 3 years, 4 months

Inspiring Words from Graduate Representative

Representing the graduates, Dr. Noor Shazreen Binti Mortadza expressed gratitude and shared her journey. Originally from Malaysia, she first came to Solo for research during her Master’s studies. She fell in love with the city, which led her to pursue a Doctorate at UNS.

“When I pursued my Master’s degree in Malaysia, I conducted research in Solo. Although my time there was short, I fell in love with the city. This led me to continue my Doctoral studies at UNS. Despite many challenges and obstacles, I aspire to become a lecturer,” Dr. Shazreen shared.

Encouraging Message from UNS Alumni Association

Prof. Zudan encouraged graduates to express gratitude to their parents and lecturers, emphasizing the importance of resilience and continuous learning.

“To all alumni, uphold UNS’s good name and continue to nurture your love and pride for your alma mater. With its growing reputation, alumni play a crucial role in enhancing UNS’s prestige. Success is not solely about holding high positions but overcoming challenges and solving problems. These accomplishments serve as the foundation for greater achievements,” he remarked.

The ceremony concluded with warm congratulations to all graduates, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys.

The Head of D3 TI Study Program SV UNS, Hartatik, M.Si., said that in 2020, the Smart IT Fest had successfully organized a similar event under a different theme, namely the ‘Innovation of D3 IT Products as a Solution in the Pandemic Era, Collaboration with Industry.’ This year around, under the theme of ‘Building Indonesia,’ the Smart IT Fest collaborates with E-Mailkomp, and was Chaired by Armada Muhammad Siswanto.

As an annual event, the Smart IT Fest Quantum 2021 aims to facilitate the D3 IT SV UNS students’ final project publication. “This is where students’ creative ideas in the technological sector are created. Not only that, the Smart IT Fest Quantum 2021 is a long-awaited moment for students to broaden their perspective in the currently developing technology,” explained Hartatik, M.Si.

The Smart IT Fest Quantum 2021 consists of Expo, National Seminar, and National Competition. The Expo is a session for the D3 IT SV UNS students to publish their works, which are viewable for the public through the Smart IT Fest Official Youtube channel and the smartitfest.d3ti.ac.id website. Meanwhile, the Smart IT Fest Quantum 2021 National Seminar attracted quite some public attention. The National Seminar covers various topics such as Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist, Technology and Big Data Enthusiasts, ‘Bringing Things to Life with the Internet of Things,’ and the Role of Software Development in Achieving the Golden Indonesia 2045.

Numerous well-known speakers were invited as speakers at the Seminar, among others, are Bagus Rully Muttaqien discussing the Technology and Big Data Enthusiasts, and the CTO & Co-founder of Talk.id, Angga Dwi Arifandi, delivering a speech on the Role of Software Development in Realizing a Golden Indonesia 2045.

The National Seminar is conducted virtually through the Zoom Cloud Meeting application and was available for free to the public, attracting high enthusiasm. The Chairperson of the Smart IT Fest Quantum 2021 Organizing Committee, Muhammad Irfan Pratama, said that there were nearly 100 participants attended the webinar.

The Smart IT Fest Quantum 2021 also holds a series of National Competitions consisting of a Poster Competition, Apps Development Competition, and a Start-Up Business Competition from September 4 to October 2, 2021. Humas UNS
