]]> UNS — The death of the student of Diploma Program (D-4) in Work Safety and Health (K3) Vocational School (SV) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, the late Gilang Endi Saputra, left a deep scar.

The late Gilang Endi Saputra died in the Basic Education and Training (Diklatsar) Korps Mahasiswa Siaga Batalyon 905 Jagal Abilawa, Sunday (24/11/2021). The incident saddened many people, including the executive leaders of UNS who directly established the Evaluation Team for Korps Mahasiswa Siaga Batalyon 905 Jagal Abilawa, led by Dr. Sunny Ummul Firdaus.

UNS also acts cooperative and sends a team from Legal Consulting and Aids Institute (LKBH) Faculty of Law UNS to assist in the ongoing legal process. UNS also decided to ask the formed legal team to assist the late Gilang Endi Saputra’s family. The commitment was emphasized by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, Prof. Ahmad Yunus.

“UNS Executive Board decided that UNS Legal Team is focused in assisting the legal aids for the late Gilang Endi Saputra’s family,” Prof. Yunus stated in the official release on Wednesday (10/11/2021).

He stated that assistance from the team would be provided by explaining the current legal process so that the family could monitor the investigation process while waiting for the next legal process. Humas UNS
