She has a great role in issuing a fair fiscal policy during the Covid-19 pandemic. She also took the initiative in committing and taking a role in handling economic impacts. The UNS Award was presented to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia for Dr. Sri Mulyani’s extraordinary contribution in accelerating the digital economy and creative industry growth in Indonesia through excellent and inclusive financial and fiscal policies.

“Therefore, following the theme of the 46th UNS Anniversary, the ‘Internationalization and Development of UNS Innovation Based on Digital Technology, Towards Creative Economy Resurgence,’ we decided to present the UNS Award to Dr. Sri Mulyani,” explained Prof. Jamal, Friday (4/2/2022).

Prof. Jamal added that UNS strongly supports the financial and fiscal policies implemented by the Minister of Finance to encourage the digital economy and creative industries’ growth in Indonesia.

“The UNS Award is awarded to Dr. Sri Mulyani for setting a fiscal policy strategy during the pandemic. Meanwhile, the installment payments extension policy for MSMEs is carried out by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) through Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 11/POJK.03/2020 dated March 13, 2020, regarding National Economic Stimulus as a Countercyclical Policy for the Impact of the Corona Virus Disease 2019,” said Prof. Jamal.

Besides being awarded the UNS Award, the Minister of Finance will also deliver a Scientific Oration at the Open Senate Session of the 46th UNS Anniversary. Humas UNS
