The FGD was opened by the Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr. rer.nat., Sajidan. He states that, currently, UNS has transformed into a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH) and recently was awarded the title of the best reporting University in Indonesia by the Ministry of Education and Culture. “We realize that PPID UNS needs to be optimized in terms of public information services. Hence, with this workshop and FGD is expected to increase the public information sensitivity at UNS,” explained Prof. Sajidan.

The event continues with opening remarks from the Chairman of KIP RI, Gede Narayana. “My appreciation went to the UNS Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) team in hosting this event. Hopefully, this dissemination of public information disclosure can establish a collaborative synergy to achieve the objectives of public information disclosure. Through this synergy, UNS is expected to implement the UU KIP properly and correctly,” explained Gede.

The first day of FGD was filled with a dissemination session regarding the Governance of Public Information Services delivered by the Indonesian KIP Senior Assistant, Siti Ajijah. Siti Ajijah said that PPID is the mouthpiece of a public body. Therefore, this benchmarking outcome can serve as improvement material to be submitted to the UNS leadership for further improvement in the future public services quality. On the second day, the event continued with Public Information List (DIP) Compilation and Updating delivered by Siti Ajijah.

Concluding the event, Dr. Deddy Whinata Kardiyanto, the Head of UNS Public Relations and Media UPT, who also serves as the Secretary of the UNS PPID, hopes for this FGD to assist UNS in preparing camera-ready works following the required output standards. “This discussion aims to improve the quality of PPID UNS in safeguarding UNS synergism in managing information disclosure to the public. The visit aims to learn about the management and academic system at FKIP UNS which currently holds the status of Autonomous University (PTNBH). The benchmarking program was opened by sharing the FKIP UNS profile and FKIP UNS Academic Senate governance. In his opening remark, Dr. Mardiyana M.Si., welcomed FIP UNY Head of Senate and all the entourages.

“As the representatives from FKIP UNS we welcomed the Head of Senate and all Senate Members of the Faculty of Education Science Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta,” Dr. Mardiyana stated.

Dr. Mardiyana also explained the short profile of FKIP UNS and introduced the Vice-Deans and Sub-Coordinators in FKIP UNS. In his presentation, Dr. Mardiyana also explained the vision and missions of FKIP UNS BAGUS, followed by the 47 programs that consist of 24 bachelor programs, 17 master programs, five doctoral programs, and Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program. The Dean also mentioned that the faculty has 31 professors, 84 associate professors, 131 senior lecturers, 192 faculty members with a doctorate, 66 lecturers, and 69 teaching staff, with a total of 381 faculty members, 127 academic staff, and around 10,000 students.

In administering the education process FKIP UNS is supported by the Unit Education Development Center (EDC), Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), School Introduction (PLP), and the Coordinator for Research and Community Service Program (KPPPMF). At the end of his introduction, Dr. Mardiyana hoped that the benchmarking program could benefit and improve both parties.

On this occasion, Prof. Munawir also introduced all members of the FKIP UNS Academic Senate and its governance, regulation, and transition to PTNBH, the function of the Academic Senate, and the FKIP UNS Academic Senate authority in the PTNBH era. The program was followed by a remark from the Head of FIP UNY Senate, Prof. Dr. Anik Gufron, M.Pd., who thanked FKIP UNS for the warm welcome. “As the Head of Senate and representative from all FIP UNY Senate members, thank you for the warm welcome for us,” Prof. Anik stated.

Prof. Anik explained that their visit aims to maintain partnership and learn from FKIP UNS Academic Senate governance to prepare UNY towards PTNBH. Prof. Anik also introduced her team, and the program was concluded with an exchange of tokens of appreciation between the institutions. Humas UNS

Prof. Ir. Nizam stated that Anugerah Diktiristek is an annual event, and he thanked all universities that participated in the Anugerah Diktiristek 2021. “From year to year, the participants of Anugerah Diktiristek are increasing,” Prof. Nizam mentioned in his remark.

Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr.rer.nat Sajidan, M.Si., appreciated UNS achievements in Anugerah Diktiristek 2021. “I appreciated UNS achievements as University with the largest PKKM in League 1, 1st runner-up in Press Conference/Press Release, and Best Award for Reporting category,” Prof. Sajidan explained.

Prof. Sajidan also hoped that UNS achievements would continue to improve in the future, both at the national and international levels. “Reporting is one of the public services in which community members could submit a report in the system. UNS, Alhamdulillah responded promptly according to the time target. Hopefully, in the future, our services could be better, provide excellent services, and the UNS system could run well,” he added.

UNS is committed to continuously improving its collaboration with the media, printed, online, and electronic. “We are committed to always providing interesting and accurate information for the public. Hopefully, in the future, it could be better. Every day UNS Public Relations Office always provides information on the UNS agenda through the website and social media, which facilitates media crews to find information regarding UNS events,” Prof. Sajidan added.

The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H. M.Hum. was grateful for the awards achieved by UNS in Anugerah Diktiristek 2021, which becomes a beautiful gift for UNS at the beginning of 2022. “Alhamdulillah, hopefully in 2022, UNS achievement could improve,” Prof. Jamal hoped.

The Chairman of UNS Public Relations and Media Office, Dr. Deddy Whinata, added that UNS Public Relations and Media Office is committed to continuing to provide services and information for the public. “We are grateful for all supports and prayers from all parties that UNS could win these awards.
