Accompanying Prof. Ismi at the event were the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Dra. Prahastiwi Utari, Ph.D.; the Vice Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics, Dr. Ahmad Zuber, S.Sos., D.E.A.; and the Vice Dean for Planning, Business Cooperation, and Information, Dr. Didik Gunawan Suharto, M.Si.

“The signing of this Action Plan follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the former Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., and Istanbul University on February 6, 2021. The Rector of Istanbul University at that time, Prof. Dr. Mahmut A.K., signed on behalf of the university,” Prof. Ismi explained.

The areas of cooperation outlined in the Action Plan include research collaboration, lecture exchanges, and scientific journal partnerships. Both parties agreed that the activities under the Action Plan will take place from 2025 to 2028.

In addition to signing the Action Plan, the FISIP UNS team also participated in an academic forum where they presented their research. Prof. Dr. Ismi Dwi Astuti Nurhaeni, M.Si., presented a paper titled “Designing Gender-Responsive Schools: The Case in Indonesia.” Dra. Prahastiwi Utari, Ph.D., delivered her paper on “Perspectives of The Seven Traditions in Communication Theory.” Dr. Ahmad Zuber, S.Sos., D.E.A., presented “Poverty Alleviation with a Participatory Approach and Paul Shaffer: A Study in Sukoharjo, Indonesia,” while Dr. Didik Gunawan Suharto, S.Sos., M.Si., discussed “Administrative and Political Aspects in the Urban Expansion Policy in the City of Surakarta.”
