The books were symbolically handed over by Nita Triana Dewi, S.E., the Sub-coordinator of the Administrative Section of UPT UNS Library, to Wiyono, the Head of Hamlet I in Turus Village, Polanharjo, Klaten. The ceremony took place in the office of the UPT UNS Library Head on Wednesday (28/8/2024). The event was attended by the Head of UPT UNS Library, Burhanudin Harahap, S.H., M.H., M.Si, Ph.D., the Coordinator of the Cooperation Division, Dinar Puspita Dewi, S.Sos., M.IP., and the Planning Chief of Turus Village, Polanharjo, Klaten, Derry Putro Wiharjo.

The donated books include a variety of genres such as fiction, non-fiction, cooking, handicrafts, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), medicinal plants, household waste management, family planning, and household cleanliness and health. “We hope these books will benefit the people of Turus Village,” Nita Triana said.

Wiyono expressed his gratitude for the book donation from UNS Library. “Thank you for the book donation from the UNS Library. We hope these books will benefit the people of Turus Village and further enhance our village library. UNS Library is outstanding and will continue to excel, be excellent, and superior,” Wiyono said.
