Institute of Research and Community Service
The Institute of Research and Community Service of Universitas Sebelas Maret (LPPM UNS) is the executing element of Universitas Sebelas Maret tasked with coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of research and community service activities carried out by service units, study centers, faculties, departments, sections, groups, and individuals, seeking control over resource use and seeking to develop and improve the quality of research and communication.
Institute of Educational Quality Development and Assurance (LPPMP)
Institute of Educational Quality Development and Assurance of Universitas Sebelas Maret was formally established in accordance with the issuance of the Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Education and Culture No. 82 of 2014 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of Universitas Sebelas Maret on August 20, 2014. LPPMP has the task of carrying out coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of activities to improve and develop learning and quality assurance education.
Technical Implementation Unit (TIU)
Library
The library of Universitas Sebelas Maret is a resource center with enormous strategic functions in academic activities to support, facilitate and improve the quality of the implementation of higher education activity programs through information services, including aspects of information gathering, information processing, information utilization, and information dissemination.
Information and Communication Technology Center
Information and Communication Technology Center of Universitas Sebelas Maret is developing cutting-edge technology and management information systems capable of meeting management’s needs and providing quick access to scientific data. Information and Communication Center of UNS implemented an online system in all work units throughout UNS environment with internet access that functions for administrative services and the teaching and learning process. Information and Communication Center of UNS always arranges and develops web-based information technology (websites) online in management information systems, covering academic, financial and student administration, which are carried out in an integrated manner.
Integrated Laboratory
The Integrated Laboratory of Universitas Sebelas Maret has the main task of carrying out a basic science practicum for students and lecturers. Moreover, it also offers calibration and analysis test services for wastewater, drinking water, air emissions, ambient air, metal contents, and other applications.
The laboratory has received National Accreditation Committee Certification and has been appointed by Bappedal, Central Java Province, as water and air quality testing laboratory and environmental examiner. The Integrated Laboratory has been certified for quality assurance and has implemented quality guidelines under ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 standards on General Requirements for Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
Language Center
Language Center of Universitas Sebelas Maret is responsible for improving the English proficiency of students, lecturers, and employees in the UNS environment through English for Academic Purpose (EAP) training, TOEIC Preparation, and General English. Language Center of UNS also offers basics to advanced foreign language courses to the UNS community and the general public, including English, Japanese, German, Dutch, and Mandarin. Language Center, which has ISO 9001: 2008 standard, also provides various foreign-language test services, including TOEFL Test, TOEIC, IELTS, Hanyu Shuiping Kaosi (International Chinese Test), EAP Test and General English Test. To support the process of teaching and learning languages, Language Center UNS is equipped with a Self Access Center (SAC) facility that is specifically designed as a place for learning foreign languages independently.
International Services Office
International Services Office of Universitas Sebelas Maret has the task of carrying out the affairs of publication, coverage of UNS activities and public relations, facilities of international cooperation, student services, educators, and foreign education personnels, and international promotion of UNS.
Archives Management Office
Record Management Office of Universitas Sebelas Maret does not only serve as the backbone for the smooth administration but also plays a role in preserving valuable records for the history of UNS. The Archives Management Office of UNS is responsible for controlling and supervising archives, facilitating the rediscovery of archives, ensuring the security of archives, and ensuring the efficiency of premises and infrastructure.
Forestry Education and Training Center
Forestry Education and Training Center of Universitas Sebelas Maret was established under the Decree of the Rector No. 864 / UN27 / HK / 2018, which has the task of carrying out the management of forest areas under the Decree of the Minister of LHK RI Number SK.177 / MENLHK / SETJEN / PLA.0 / 4/2018 dated April 9, 2018.
