The Closing of UNS 45th Anniversary Celebration Announced the Winners of Nine International Competitions

UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta 45^th Anniversary Celebration Series was officially closed on Thursday (20/5/2021) through the Zoom Cloud Meeting platform. The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNS, and the Chairman for UNS 45^th Anniversary Celebration, Prof. Drs. Djoko Suhardjanto, M. Com(Hons)., Ph.D., Ak., executive board, faculty members, invited guests, and the participants of international competitions attended the closing ceremony.

Among the events, UNS held several international competitions from February to March 2021. Nine international competitions announced their winners in this closing ceremony are the International Sports Industry Essay Competition, International Sustainable Development Goals’ Essay Competition, International Covid-19 Essay Competition, International Content Creator for Social Media Competition, International Business Model Canvas Competition, International E-learning Essay Competition, International Game Online Development Competition, International IoT Challenge, and International Design Competition for Health Protocol Supporting Product.

“Tonight, we will announce the (results) of nine international competitions participated by more than 100 students from Asia, Europe, Australia, and Africa,” Prof. Djoko stated.

At the same time, the Rector of UNS stated that he was delighted with this year’s UNS Anniversary celebration even though most of the events were held online. “We hope next year’s celebration will have more innovative, creative, and attractive events. I also hope that UNS will obtain more achievements this year and the following years,” Prof. Jamal added.

Prof. Jamal’s wish was answered by the number of UNS students who won the international competition. Some won the main prize, while some others came out as the best. Following is the complete list of the winners from nine international competitions in the UNS 45^th Anniversary Celebration.
