UNS — The Rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., was selected as Inspirational University Leader by Elementary School (SD) Djama’atul Ichwan. The award was granted to the Rector of UNS to commemorate SD Djama’atul Ichwan centennial celebration held in Sunan Hotel Solo on Monday (14/2/2022).
On this occasion, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., shared his gratitude to SD Djama’atul Ichwan for granting him the Inspirational University Leader award. “Thank you to Yayasan Djama’atul Ichwan for granting the Inspirational University Leader award to me. And congratulation to SD Djama’atul Ichwan for its Centennial Anniversary, it is a long service in the education field, even longer than Universitas Sebelas Maret,” Prof. Jamal stated.
Prof. Jamal is impressed with SD Djama’atul Ichwan alumni for continuing their study in various universities at home and abroad. Prof. Jamal argues that it reflects the excellent quality of the teaching and learning process in SD Djama’atul Ichwan. “This shows that the teaching and learning process in SD Djama’atul Ichwan is laudable and excellent. There is strong collaboration between students and teachers in the school; I think it is laudable. SD Djama’atul Ichwan greatly inspires the education institutions in Surakarta, Central Java, even at the national and international level,” Prof. Jamal explained.
The award for Prof. Jamal was handed by Mukhlis Mustofa, M.Pd., as the Chairman of Yayasan Pendidikan Djama’atul Ichwan. Other awardees are Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek), Nadiem Makarim as Driver of Education Transformation, Surakarta Mayor, Gibran Rakabuming Raka as Inspirational Young Leader, Al-Muayyad Surakarta Boarding School manager, K.H. Abdul Rozaq Shofawi as Inspirational Alumni, and Solopos as Inspirational Media. Humas UNS
