UNS – The Rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, welcomed a visit from the Commander of Military Resort (Danrem) 074/ Warastratama Surakarta, Kolonel Inf. Rano Maxim Adolf Tilaar, S. E in his office, dr. Prakosa building UNS, Thursday (9/7/2020). This visit is a form of friendship between the new leaders in Korem 074/ Warastratama Surakarta and UNS.
Colonel Inf. Rano Amxim Adolf Tilaar was accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Wiyata Sempana Aji, SE, MDS (Dandim 0735/Ska), Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Adiarso, AM.d (Kasiintelrem 074/Wrt), Lieutenant Colonel Caj. Drs. Achsin M.Si (Kasiterrem 074/Wrt), Major Inf. Tanjung (Pasiintelrem 074/Wrt), Captain Inf. Kusnandar (Dantimintelrem 074/Wrt), and Captain Inf. Paidi (Danramil 04/Jebres). In this occasion, Prof. Jamal was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo.
“I appreciate the visit from Danrem Surakarta to UNS and I highly wish that we can always work together in every field. And turns out, Mr Danrem came from Manado, Sulawesi, while Manado is my second home. Previously I was in charge as the acting Rector of Universitas Manado,” Prof. Jamal Wiwoho stated after welcoming the visit from Danrem 074/ Warastratama.
Prof. Jamal wished that the visit from Colonel Inf. Rano Amxim Adolf Tilaar will strengthen the partnership between UNS and Korem 074/ Warastratama. Responding to the warm greeting from Prof. Jamal, Colonel Inf. Rano Amxim Adolf Tilaar stated that his visit is a common activity for the new leader in Korem 074/ Warastratama.
“It is only proper that the young visit the older because university students are our target community, thus, so, as is known, the development of territorial targets consists of geography, demography, and social conditions,” Colonel Inf. Rano Amxim Adolf Tilaar conveyed.
He stated that in the demographic aspect, university students have a very important role as the next generation.
“The young are the nation’s dream, thus in managing the demographic, geographic, and social aspects as a fighting component, thus the young generation is a significant component,” he continued.
Therefore, Colonel Inf. Rano Amxim Adolf Tilaar wished that in the future Korem 074/ Warastratama and UNS can realize several events concerning young generation coaching. Humas UNS
