UNS — Three programs in Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta were involved in the assessment process for Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) as an effort to become a World Class University. The programs were Bachelor Program in State Administration Science Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Bachelor Program in Economics Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), and Bachelor Program in Law Science Faculty of Law (FH). Due to the current pandemic in Indonesia, the assessment process was implemented online through the Zoom Meeting Platform on 5 to 7 October 2021, with all programs participated from UNS Inn meeting rooms.
The FIBAA assessors or expert panels invited for the assessment were Prof. Dr. Dennis Hilgers (Johannes Kepler Univesity Linz, Austria), Prof. Dr. Karin Halbritter (IO Internationale Hochschule Germany), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Voegeli (University of Hamburg Germany), Ass. Professor Dr. Radian Salman (Universitas Airlangga Surabaya), Dipl. Handelslehrer Gerd Rieger (Rieger Training-Innovatives Wirtschaftstraining Germany), Judith Barth (student representative University of Cologne Germany), and Maya Koehler (FIBAA Project Manager)
The assessment was opened with the presentation of the UNS executive board, represented by Vice-Rector for Academic and Student AffairsUNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S, accompanied by Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Sajidan, M.Si., the Chief of LPPMP, Prof. Sarwiji Suwandi M.Pd., and Director of Partnership, Development, and Internationalization, Irwan Trinugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D.
Prior to the assessment process, each program was required to submit the Self Evaluation Report (SER) that they prepared with full dedication. The assessment process involved the program management, including the Dean, head of the program, chief of the accreditation task force, faculty members, academic staff, and student and alumni representatives.
In the assessment process, the Bachelor Program in State Administration Science was represented by the Dean of FISIP UNS, Prof. Dr. Ismi Dwi Astuti Nurhaeni, M.Si, Vice-Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FISIP, Prahastiwi Utari, Ph.D., the Head of Bachelor Program in State Administration Science, Dr. Asal Wahyuni Erlin Mulyadi., MPA, and chief of the task force, Rino Ardhian Nugroho, MTI., Ph.D. The alumni representative that attended the assessment process was Djoko Wibowo, S.Sos., MT, Chief of Development Acceleration, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and Bagus Pambudi., S.Sos., MPA, the Chief of Research and Development Batang District Central Java Province.
Dr. Asal Wahyuni Erlin Mulyadi, MPA, as the Head of Bachelor Program in State Administration Science FISIP UNS, stated that FIBAA is an international accreditation institution listed in the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and has international orientation in quality assurance and development in higher education.
“We offer our gratitude to all teams involved, from the management board, faculty members, academic staff, students, and alumni. Hopefully, this accreditation will run smoothly and successfully in achieving UNS as a World Class University,” Dr. Erlin stated. Humas UNS
