UNS — Another excellent achievement was made by students of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. Recently, three UNS students won 2nd place in the Keubangk Cup National ‘Cerdas Cermat’ Competition, hosted by Finance and Banking Study Program Student Association, Vocational Faculty, Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Malang. The team entitled ‘Tim Kitoni’ consisted of Rizki Wahyu Perdana, Vito Christian Umbu Gori, and Hanif Prasetyo Wibowo from the Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS.
This competition was conducted virtually through the Zoom Cloud Meeting last November 2022. During the competition, participants were asked to answer a set of questions provided through the Quizizz platform. For this achievement, Vito admits that he was thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to represent UNS in the competition.
“It was wonderful to be able to represent UNS and compete against well-known universities in Indonesia,” said Vito.
Further, Vito explains that their initial objective for competing in this championship was to explore various positive activities.
“Starting with exploring positive activities, one of them was this ‘Cerdas Cermat’ competition since it was in line with our study, where the three of us focused on economics, accounting, taxation, and banking. Therefore, we need to build excellent collaboration to participate in numerous championships,” explained Vito on Thursday (29/12/2022).
While competing in this championship, they found it difficult to find the right time for a meeting. “It was challenging to set meeting schedules because we took different classes and had different activities. Also, there were many tricky questions during the Zoom session. Hence we got some wrong answers. However, using our planned strategy, we can solve those challenges accordingly,” explains Vito.
Hanif, representing the team, states that he hopes to be a better person and contribute to UNS’ achievements.
“Hopefully, in the future, we can be a better student and contribute to UNS and our study program’s achievement, especially to grow better and achieve more,” Hanif hoped. Humas UNS
