UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta accepted 3.649 new student candidates from the 2023 Test-Based National Selection (SNBT). The SNBT results were announced by the National Selection Team for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) on Tuesday (20/6/2023) at 15.00 WIB.

The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. during a press conference in the Meeting Room 4, Dr. Prakosa Building UNS said that nationally, there were 803.852 registrants for the 2023 SNBT (up 0,37% compared to the 2022 SBMPTN). A total of 223.217 people passed the selection and 36,24% (80.896 people) of them were KIP College applicants. Meanwhile, the number of interested persons in SNBT UNS in 2023 was 58.695 people, up 10% from those interested in 2022, which was 53.358 people.

“The 58.695 applicants for the SNBT 2023 UNS consisted of 51.565 undergraduate groups and 7.130 applicants for the diploma,” Prof. Jamal explained, Tuesday (20/6/2023).

There are ten study programs (Prodi) with the highest rigor in the UNS Science Group, namely Pharmacy (1:55), Medicine (1:46), Informatics (1:43), Psychology (1:35); Midwifery (1: 27), Urban and Regional Planning (1: 27), Industrial Engineering (1: 25), Data Science (1: 24), Food Science and Technology (1: 22), and Civil Engineering (1:22).

As for the ten study programs with the highest rigor in the UNS Social and Humaniora Group, namely Digital Business Management study program (1: 73), Communication Studies (1: 42), Management (1: 39), Accounting (1: 30), Guidance and Counseling (1:29), International Relations (1:28), English Department (1: 24), Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Surakarta (1:21), Science of State Administration (1: 20), and English Education (1: 19).

In the Diploma 3 and 4 Programs, the ten study programs with the highest stringency are D4 Occupational Safety and Health (1: 30), D3 Informatics Engineering (1: 19), D3 Business Management (1: 19), D3 Pharmacy (1: 18), D3 Taxation (1: 15), D3 Administration Management (1: 15), D3 Mechanical Engineering (1: 13), D4 Demographics & Civil Registration (1: 11), D3 Midwifery (1: 11), and D3 Finance & Banking (1 : 9).

UNS is ranked 4th nationally with the highest number of registrants, which is 58.695 people. The FEB UNS Digital Business study program is in the 5th national ranking of the strictest study programs with a rigor of 1,38%. UNS is also ranked 13th nationally with the most acceptance of 2023 SNBT participants, namely 3.649 people. Then UNS was also ranked 17th with the most admissions of KIP college participants, namely 1.338 people. UNS is ranked 5th with the most applicants (Academic), namely 51.565 people. UNS is ranked 9th (Academic) with the highest UTBK average, namely 624,75.

In addition, UNS is ranked 3rd (most applicants for vocational) with 7.130 people. UNS is also ranked 18th with the highest number of vocational applicants, namely 723 people. UNS is ranked 3rd with the highest UTBK for Vocational, namely 621,22. UNS is ranked 9th in the vocational study program, namely the Occupational Safety and Health study program with a tightness of 3,28%. UNS is ranked 16th as the recipient of the most KIP Vocational college participants, that is, 325 participants.

Registrants who pass the selection are expected to immediately take the next step by opening the http://spmb.uns.ac.id page. The schedule for registration of new students who pass the 2023 SNBT selection is as follows: filling in biodata on 21 June -4 July 2023, announcement of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) on 21 June -4 July 2023, UKT change application on 21-26 June 2023, determination of UKT change on 28 June 2023, UKT payment and online registration on 21 June -4 July 2023 and UKT payments for those who propose changes on 28 June – 4 July 2023.
