UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta brought numerous awards from the 2022 Diktiristek Award. The awarding ceremony was conducted at The Sultan Hotel & Residence, Jakarta, and was available through Ditjen Diktiristek Youtube Channel on Thursday (15/12/2022) night. This event was hosted by the Directorate General Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).
Seven awards were bestowed to UNS in the Diktiristek Public Relations Award for Legal Entities Higher Education Institution category (PTNBH), including Gold Medal in Press Conference, Silver Medal in Magazine publication, Silver Medal for Profile Video, and Silver Medal for Social Media. Additionally, UNS also receives the 2nd Best Teaching and Learning SPADA Award under the Higher Education Institution with the Most Subject Contribution sub-category; the 2022 Academic Leaders Award in Social and Humanities sub-category to a professor from FEB UNS, Prof. Irwan Trinugroho; and Bronze Medal for Partnership Award Diktiristek under the Best IKU-6 Growth.
Those awards were delivered directly by Plt. (t/n.Task and Daily Executor) Director General Diktiristek Kemendikbudristek, Prof. Nizam, to the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho. In his remarks, Prof. Nizam states that this Awarding session represents Ditjen Diktiristek’s appreciation to its stakeholder, which consist of Higher Education Institutions, the Institute for Higher Education Service (LLDIKTI), journalists, media, and partners, for achieving the highest accomplishment and contribution in supporting higher education transformation (Medeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, Higher Education Key Performance Indicator, and Matching Fund).
Meanwhile, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, expresses his gratitude for the seven awards bestowed to UNS in the 2022 Diktiristek Award. He states that these seven awards will become the best gift for UNS at the end of 2022. “These Diktiristek Awards, four of them are from the Public Relations Office. Hence, it is appropriate for me to appreciate UNS Public Relations Office and Media’s performance. Because of the tight competition. Alhamdulillah, hopefully in 2023, UNS can have brighter achievements,” said Prof. Jamal in a press conference at UNS Ki Hadjar Dewantara Tower, Friday (16/12/2022).
The Head of UNS Public Relations Office and Media, Dr. Deddy Whinata Kardiyanto, added that UNS Public Relations Office and Media is committed in delivering excellent and continuous services, as well as providing information to the public. “Thank you for all the support and prayers from all parties, which allow UNS to win these awards. Thanks also to all media partners for your cooperation and partnership thus far,” said Dr. Deddy.
Aside from the seven awards from the 2022 Diktiristek Award, UNS also received another award from the Central Information Commission (KIP) on December 14th, as the 2022 Informative Public Office under the State University category. For this award, UNS obtained a total score of 95.70.
Dr. Deddy expresses his gratitude for UNS’ quality leap from ‘informative enough’ in 2021 to ‘informative’ in 2022. “This achievement is commendable and, at the same time, become a challenge for us to keep providing adequate and transparent public information service to the public,” explained Dr. Deddy.
Aside from Higher Education Institutions, this award also included other public offices such as State-Owned Enterprises, Non-Structural Institutions, State Institutions and Non-Ministrial State Institutions, Provincial Government, Ministry Office, and Political Parties. HUMAS UNS
