This award was given at the 8th Public Relations Indonesia Award (PRIA) 2023 which was held on Friday (17/3/2023) in Denpasar, Bali.

Head of UPT Public Relations and Media UNS, Dr. Deddy Whinata Kardiyanto thanked all parties for achieving this award.

Alhamdulillah, since the first PR Indonesia Award was held in 2016, today (Friday, 17 March 2023) UNS has won the PR Indonesia Award 2023 as the Most Popular category in Print and Online Media, sub-category of Tertiary Education,” Dr. Deddy explained.

In relation to the category of non-entry-based awards (media monitoring), the evaluation of this award is based on the highest number of positive exposures in print and online media. Specifically for this category, PR Indonesia in collaboration with Indonesia Indicator monitored the news coverage of hundreds of Ministries/Institutions/Regional Government/BUMN/BUMD in local print and online media, from 1 January to 31 December 2022.

“With this award, hopefully it will further spur tertiary institutions to continue to increase coverage both in print and online media,” he added.

Whereas the judging for PRIA 2023 itself took place in a hybrid manner for four consecutive days from 13-17 February 2023 involving a number of competent judges in the field of public relations.
