UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta established another partnership with the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). This time, the partnership was established with PT. Crypto Indonesia Berkat (Tokocrypto). This partnership was marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) at T-Hub Solo on Friday (19/8/2022).
This MoA was signed in person by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, and Tokocrypto CEO Pang Xue Kai. Also attending the ceremony was the Deputy Minister of Trade, Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Jerry Sambuaga, and Deputy Mayor of Surakarta, Drs. Teguh Prakosa.
In his remark, Prof. Jamal said that this partnership is highly favorable because UNS also has a Digital Business Study Program under the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Center for Excellence in Science and Technology (PUI) for Fintech and Banking.
“UNS has a Digital Business Study Program, which attracts about 1,200 applicants, with only 60 students enrolled. This enthusiasm shows that millennials are very sensitive to technology development, especially in the digital economy. I thank Tokocrypto for trusting UNS to work together,” said Prof. Jamal.
Prof. Jamal hopes that Tokocrypto can participate together in developing UNS. He believes that Tokocrypto can provide education and comprehension about digital assets to the public and can provide legal protection for the owners of these assets.
Meanwhile, Tokocrypto CEO Pang Xue Kai also appreciated the successful partnership with UNS. “We are very proud to be able to establish strategic cooperation with UNS. Tokoschollar, which is owned by Tokocrypto, is led by the educational community to develop crypto asset education in Indonesia, especially UNS.
