UNS – Students of the Fine Arts Study Program, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta presented the Pinarak Exhibition. This was an Art Exhibition by Fine Arts Students of the Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD) UNS class of 2021. The works displayed belong to students who work in Graphic, Painting, and Entrepreneurship Studios.
The Pinarak Exhibition lasted for three days, from Tuesday (20/6/2023) to Thursday (22/6/2023). This exhibition was held at the FSRD Gallery, HB Sutopo Building UNS. The fine art exhibition displayed a variety of interesting works by FSRD UNS students. Besides, there are also workshops and live murals.
The Pinarak Exhibition carried the theme “Lingguh Kursi”, where there is a desire to create a creative space. To uns.ac.id, the Chief Executive of the Exhibition, Vito Ariyanto explained that there were more than 50 works of graphic arts, paintings, and installations by UNS students’ original works.
“We provide a space for expression and work. The meaning of ‘Pinarak’ is like inviting. In the mean time, ‘Lingguh Kursi’ is a place for us to express ourselves,” Vito said.
Dyah Yuni Kurniawati, S.Sn., M.Sn., as the supervising lecturer sees exhibitions as a necessity. This is based on all the work-making activities that have been carried out in the studio for one semester and have been appreciated by the public.

“Students as academic artists must be responsible for everything they do in the studio so that society can appreciate it,” Dyah Yuni K., M.Sn. said.
In this exhibition there were also business designs belonging to Interior Design Study Program students at FSRD UNS displayed. Students received support from campus and the government for entrepreneurship. Various business acceleration programs such as New Student Entrepreneurship (WIBAWA) UNS, Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW), and Student Creativity Program (PKM) for Entrepreneurship field.
The Interim Head of Fine Arts Study Program UNS, Desy Nurcahyanti, S.Sn., M.Hum., gave a positive assessment of the exhibition being held. She hopes that in the future exhibitions will appear on an international scale.
“We try to innovate and package the results of this course work into an exhibition that deserves to be appreciated,” Desy Nurcahyanti, M.Hum. said. Humas UNS
