UNS — Center for Fintech and Banking Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS Fintech Center) educated Salatiga City state apparatus in health care services, such as the Community Health Care Center, university students, and the public. Under the “Capacity Building for Local Government Digital Financial Officers” theme, the community service program was held offline under a strict health protocol on Thursday (10/6/2021).
On this occasion, the Chief of UNS Fintech Center, Irwan Trinugroho, Ph.D., delivered an opening remark and opened the event. In this community service program, the speakers were Aldy Fariz Achsanta, Ph.D., Sutaryo, SE., MSI., AK., CA., CRA., CRP., and Dr. Taufiq Arifin, M.Sc., CA, Ak, CRA. As the first speaker, Aldy Fariz Achsanta, Ph.D., discussed the New Normal of Financial Literacy, a new approach in financial literacy amid the pandemic.
The next two speakers delivered materials on financial management at Regional Public Service Agency (BULD). Sutaryo, SE., MSI., AK., CA., CRA., CRP., material was preparing a financial report for Community Healthcare Center BLUD. He explained the accountability, transparency, and the Report Changes in Budget Balance Over. He also explained that BLUD financial reports aim to provide information for its users to assess accountability and take economic, social, and political decisions.
“The articulation of financial report is also provided based on the benefits and the types of financial reports such as balance sheets and other reports,” Sutaryo explained.
Dr. Taufiq Arifin, M.Sc., CA, Ak, CRA, CRP described the financial report analysis for Community Healthcare Center BLUD. His material discussed the Community Healthcare Center BLUD financial report that consists of financial statements, cash flows, statements of equity, changes in budget balance over, balance sheet, and budget realization report. Dr. Taufiq’s materials were also accompanied by real cases and problem formulation that provides accurate descriptions for participants.
