UNS – Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a public lecture by presenting resource person H.E. Benedetto Latteri as the Ambassador of Italy to Indonesia. This event was held offline at the Ballroom UNS Tower 3rd Floor on Monday (3/7/2023).
In his remarks, the Interim Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, Business and Information UNS, Prof. Irwan Trinugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his gratitude to the resource person for agreeing to attend UNS to share material. Prof. Irwan also hopes that the public lecture participants can absorb the material presented by the speaker.
“I hope that this public lecture can run smoothly and the participants get benefits from the presentation of the resource person. The hope is that after this event we can learn together how Italy can build strength in terms of the creative economy,” Prof. Irwan said.
On this occasion, the speaker presented was H.E. Benedetto Latteri, who delivered material on ‘Italy, a Creative Economy’.
“Italy has a creative industry that is quite advanced in several aspects. So do not be surprised if Italy has a big influence in several fields. As a leader in the circular economy, becoming an epitome in fashion, taking significant steps in developing and expanding renewable energy, even rich in marine ecosystems to support various sectors and industries,” he explained.
After the presentation of the speaker, the public lecture continued with a question-answer session. The question-and-answer session was conducted interactively. Then the activity ended with a group photo session and the handover of souvenirs to the speaker. Humas UNS
