UNS — A total of 30,013 participants took the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. UTBK 2023 at UNS was held in 14 test locations consisting of 48 rooms. UTBK is a test that is the main requirement for taking part in the 2023 Test-Based National Selection (SNBT) at Academic State University, Vocational State University, and State Islamic University (PTKIN).
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. accompanied by Plt. the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. and Head of UPT SPMB UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Sc. said, according to the schedule set by the National Selection of New Student Admissions (SNPMB) team, UNS as one of the 74 PTN UTBK Centers in Indonesia held UTBK in two batches, namely Batch 1 on 8-14 May 2023 and Batch 2 on 22 – May 26, 2023.
Nationally, the number of UTBK SNBT registrants in 2023 increased by 3,001 participants (0.37%), from 800,852 participants in 2022 to 803,853 in 2023. “The number of participants registered at the UNS UTBK Center for 2023 is 30,013 (an increase of 13.65% compared to 2022, which was 26,408). UTBK 2023 at UNS was held in 14 test locations (48 rooms) with a total capacity of 1,310 participants per session (an increase of 33.67% compared to 2022 of 980). The total number of UTBK 2023 sessions at UNS is 24 sessions consisting of 14 sessions in batch 1 and 10 sessions in batch 2,” Prof. Jamal explained at the Press Conference which was held in Meeting Room IV, dr. Prakosa UNS, Monday (8/5/2023).
Then the implementation of the UTBK SNBT 2023 was divided into 2 test sessions every day. They are morning session 06.45 – 10.30 WIB and afternoon session 12.30 – 16.15 WIB (except Friday, which is 13.15 – 17.00 WIB). The SNBT 2023 announcement will be announced on June 20.
There were UTBK applicants at UNS who are persons with disabilities, namely two blind participants who took the exam in session 05 (Wednesday, 10 May 2023 at 06.45-10.30) at UPT TIK-Lab Computer 1.
“Alhamdulillah, the implementation of UTBK at UNS in session 1 this morning, Monday, 8 May 2023, can run smoothly. The number of participants who attended the exam at the UNS UTBK Center in the first session was 1,267 people (96.72%). While the participants who were not present were 43 people (3.28%),” Prof. Jamal concluded. HUMAS UNS
