UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta and Solo Techno Park (STP) signed a Cooperation Agreement on Friday (10/9/2021), specifically between STP and UNS Vocational School (SV), Faculty of Engineering (FT), and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (FMIPA) UNS. The collaboration includes the educational fields in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program, research, and community service program.
In the ceremony, UNS was represented by Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr. rer.nat. Sajidan, M.Si., Dean of SV UNS, Drs. Santoso Tri Hananto, M.Acc., Dean of FT UNS, Dr. Techn. Ir. Sholihin As’ad, M.T., and Dean of FMIPA UNS, Drs. Harjana, M.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. At the same time, STP was represented by Yudit Cahyantoro, ST., MT., as the Director of Solo Techno Park and Ir. Zubaidi, MM who represented the Chairman of Bappeda Kota Surakarta.
In his remark, Prof. Sajidan stated that UNS is one of the partners in the development of STP that was initiated during Ir. Joko Widodo government in Surakarta. In the MBKM era, partnership with STP is vital to support UNS students who will spend at least 20 credits outside their campus.
The Vice-Rector also hoped that the products from MSMEs assisted by UNS could be exhibited in STP.
“Then (we could) create a curation and selected curators from UNS and STP, so (the products) can be sent to be exhibited in Europe (France). To facilitate the mobility of research products and students’ projects, we will open UNS-STP gate,” Prof. Sajidan explained. Humas UNS
