UNS – Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Negeri Manado on Saturday (22/7/2023). The signing of the MoU between UNS and Universitas Negeri Manado took place offline on the 11th Floor of the Ki Hadjar Dewantara Building.

The MoU signing was carried out by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum and the Rector of Universitas Negeri Manado, Prof. Dr. Deitje Adolfien Katuuk, M.Pd.

In the MoU signing, UNS and Universitas Negeri Manado agreed to synchronize their potentials to achieve optimal results in educational activities, research, and community service activities.

“The purpose of this memorandum is to improve the implementation of national programs, especially in the fields of education, research and community service, through guest lectures, advanced studies for educators (lecturers), seminars, research studies, and community service activities,” Prof. Jamal explained.

In his remarks, Prof. Jamal also expressed his gratitude to Universitas Negeri Manado for the signing of this memorandum of understanding. He also hoped that through this MoU, both UNS and Universitas Negeri Manado could continue to improve their respective achievements.

Furthermore, the scope of this memorandum includes the organization of education, research, and community service activities; the implementation of Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM); collaboration in research and resource development; the organization of scientific activities, studies, seminars, and workshops; the improvement and development of human resources competences; and other activities agreed upon by the parties.

On the same occasion, the Rector of Universitas Negeri Manado, Prof. Dr. Deitje Adolfien Katuuk, M.Pd., also expressed her gratitude for the signing of the MoU with UNS.

 “Thank you also for the warm welcome. Moreover, we are not only here to sign the memorandum of understanding. After this, we will continue with benchmarking together with UNS to learn about the Public Service Agency (BLU),” Prof. Deitje continued. Humas UNS
